in addition to the immense difficulties communities in Brooklyn, Queens, New Jersey and beyond are facing in the wake of hurricane sandy, there are a lot of amazing organizations, galleries and non-profits in nyc that were hit pretty hard during the hurricane. it’s been a rough few days in new york.
